About Us

Urban College (UC) is a university-preparatory senior high school that was founded in 2024, located in Accra, along the Accra-Cape Coast Road. The school's primary objective is preparing students for universities by offering a diverse range of curricula that cover Liberal Arts, with courses in sciences, general arts, and visual arts; Technical Education, with courses in architectural design and drafting technology, building construction, and quantity surveying; Business studies; and Vocational studies, with courses in home economics. This structure allows students to have specialized options that tailor their learning to their interests and career ambition and still receive a well-rounded education through the core curriculum. This blended learning model gives students both academic knowledge and industry-aligned skill, hence an easy transition into universities or into various industries directly. As part of the educational strategy to equip students with industry-aligned education and skills, Urban College partners with reputable local organizations and businesses in order to complement practical learning and the application of knowledge gained in class. This collaboration provides students with the ability to gain first-hand experience, thus preparing them for the constantly changing needs of their chosen professions.
